“This will never happen to us,” is a phrase we have all said at some point in our lives. Unfortunately, on September 1st, 2021, it did happen to Upper Dublin Township when Hurricane Ida brought 130mph winds destroying their Township Building, Police Station and Public Works Department.
Almost five years later Upper Dublin Township marked a major milestone with the formal dedication of its new facilities on April 7, 2026, following four years of teamwork and rebuilding after an EF2 tornado. Despite the significant disruption, the Township’s leadership and perseverance, together with Delaware Valley Trusts’ ongoing commitment to supporting our Members, helped drive the project to completion. The outcome is an excellent new facility that restores services and strengthens the Township’s ability to serve the community moving forward.
