Community involvement was a meaningful part of this year’s Delaware Valley Health Trust Annual Meeting. Following the meeting, 29 attendees participated in a special community giveback activity in partnership with Girls on the Run.
The experience began with a brief educational session highlighting Girls on the Run’s mission to inspire and empower young girls through confidence-building programs that promote physical activity, self-esteem, and positive life skills. Participants also learned about the organization’s focus on body positivity and personal growth.
After the presentation, attendees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered alongside Girls on the Run staff. Participants helped organize and pack inventory, preparing supplies and materials for upcoming program sessions. Their efforts provided valuable support behind the scenes and helped ensure local girls have the resources they need to succeed.
The activity offered members an opportunity to connect with one another while making a positive impact in the community. It reflected the Trust’s ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that promote health, wellness, and personal development for individuals of all ages.
We extend our thanks to everyone who participated and to Girls on the Run for partnering with us on this rewarding experience. Together, we demonstrated that investing in healthier, stronger communities goes beyond the workplace and creates lasting benefits for future generations.
