DVHT Can Integrate with Your Payroll Platform

The Delaware Valley Health Trust can now support standard 834 enrollment files for employer groups.

The Delaware Valley Health Trust is pleased to announce that we are expanding our enrollment capabilities and will begin accepting HIPAA‑standard 834 enrollment files from approved third‑party benefit administrators. This enhancement is designed to streamline eligibility management, reduce manual entry, and improve the accuracy of enrollment data for our members.

Required Testing Period (3–6 Months)

Before any entity can begin submitting 834 production files, a mandatory testing period of approximately 3 to 6 months is required. The length of the testing period will vary based on:

    • The existing DVHT relationship with your third‑party benefit administrator
    • Their technical readiness
    • The level of integration already in place

This testing phase ensures that file formatting, data mapping, and system compatibility meet the Delaware Valley Health Trust's standards for accuracy and reliability.

Enrollment Changes During Testing

While testing is underway, the member entity can enter all enrollment updates through the DVHT Portal. Using the portal during testing ensures that eligibility data is processed without delay and that no disruptions occur during the transition to 834 file submission.

Next Steps for Member Entities

Employers who wish to begin the 834 onboarding and testing process may contact Emilie Gutierrez at egutierrez@dvtrusts.com to receive:
