Out-of-Network dental claims can now be submitted online directly through the Delta Dental member site, eliminating the need for paper forms and mail.
Members can go to Claims & visits > File an out-of-network claim to be guided through a step-by-step submission process. With this digital option, members can:
• Submit in-country and out-of-country claims online
• Upload required documentation such as receipts and X-rays
• Receive a confirmation reference number for easier claims tracking
This enhancement reflects our commitment to listening and improving to support a faster, more convenient claims experience.
We continue to encourage members to maximize their dental benefits by choosing in-network providers which leads to lower out-of-pocket costs and no claim forms to file.
Members can log in to the member portal to find a dentist, submit claims, and manage benefits—all in one place.
The online out-of-network claims feature is live as of June 26, 2026.
